Junior NodeJS Engineer

About the Position

We're seeking a Junior NodeJS Engineer to join our team in Wroclaw, Poland. You'll work on cloud transformation projects using AWS, Kubernetes, and Kafka.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and enhance APIs, CI/CD automation, tests, and proofs of concept to deliver robust, customer-focused solutions.
• Apply strong engineering principles, analytical thinking, and business understanding to design, document, and implement clean solutions.
• Collaborate with peers, product, and business teams: define requirements, scope work, review designs/code, and provide on-call support.
• Uphold high standards for code quality, testing, automation, and DevOps practices, including monitoring, alerting, and cloud infrastructure.
• Share knowledge and continuously learn: lead knowledge-sharing sessions, adopt new tools/technologies, and contribute to team growth.

Requirements

• Must have

  • 1-2 years professional experience in NodeJS programming language.
  • AWS cloud technologies.
  • B2 English

• Nice to have

  • Java, Go language experience.
  • Kafka or alternative.
  • Relational databases.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases.
  • Knowledge of RESTful architecture and micro services.
  • Knowledge of JSON and XML.
  • Knowledge of Data engineering frameworks and technologies.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and testing tools.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
