Responsibilities

  • Payroll Administration: Collect all payroll-related information from managers, prepare, generate, check, and submit payroll figures on a monthly basis.
  • File Maintenance: Maintain internal files and shared files with providers to ensure data accuracy and efficiency (using Google and Excel sheets).
  • Payroll Checks: Conduct payroll checks on the providers’ results and ensure data accuracy and data completion.
  • Taxes: Help employees with any tax-related questions with the support of our providers.
  • Payroll Coordination: Be the go-between HR, Finance, Legal, and the Outsourced Payroll Provider to ensure clear communication between departments for efficient payroll service.
  • Support: Support the rest of the People team or any other department that needs it for any topics related to employees’ payroll and benefits.
  • Employee Support: Support employees on a day-to-day basis and answer questions about benefits, payroll, company policies, etc...
  • Internal Audits: Conduct and coordinate internal audits to ensure that employee files have all necessary documents for local compliance purposes and maintain employee files with all updated employee data.
  • Administration: Administer changes to salary, benefits, promotions, bonus, etc. and provide support to implement new Benefits packages or improve the current ones.
  • Employee Happiness: Help keep colleagues happy!

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience handling end-to-end payroll processes.
  • Knowledge of Payroll structure, Social Security, and Tax regulation and administration.
  • Excellent data management skills - strong Excel and database management skills.
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) in English. Spanish and/or Italian are a plus.
  • Proactive, hands-on, and eager to get your hands dirty!
  • Detailed-oriented – you are a freak when it comes to details.
  • Always looking for ways to improve processes and optimizing coordination between colleagues.
