(Junior) Purchasing Engineer

About the Position

We are seeking a (Junior) Purchasing Engineer to manage purchasing activities and supplier relationships in our global operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing activities for materials, components, and equipment required for business operations.
• Create and process purchase orders in a timely and accurate manner.
• Monitor supplier delivery performance and ensure on-time delivery of purchased items.
• Follow up on purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers regarding quality, delivery schedules, and contractual requirements.
• Proactively identify supply risks and take preventive actions to avoid delays or disruptions.
• Resolve delivery, quality, and supplier-related issues effectively and efficiently.
• Maintain and develop supplier relationships to support stable and reliable supply.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders across departments to support project and operational requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Trade, Logistics, or other related disciplines.
• At least 3 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Good understanding of purchasing processes, supplier management, and procurement practices.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Good written and spoken English communication skills.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven mindset.
• Ability to work independently and perform effectively under pressure.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration spirit.
