About the Position
We are seeking a Junior Python Developer with 1+ year of experience in Python and related libraries to join our team in London, UK.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services using Python
- Implement background task processing with Celery
- Work with cloud technologies, especially Amazon Web Services (CloudWatch, Lambda, EC2, ECS, etc.)
- Manage API integration and data formats (JSON, XML, CSV)
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests using Pytest
- Handle SQL and PostgreSQL databases
- Participate in code reviews and adhere to best coding practices
- Use version control systems like Git and containerization with Docker
Requirements
- 1+ year of hands-on experience with Python and related libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, etc.
- Experience with Celery for background task processing
- Experience with cloud technologies, especially Amazon Web Services (CloudWatch, Lambda, EC2, ECS, etc.)
- Understanding of API management and integration concepts
- Familiarity with data formats (JSON, XML, CSV)
- Experience with Pytest for writing and maintaining unit and integration tests
- Solid understanding of working with SQL and PostgreSQL databases
- Experience in code reviews and adherence to best coding practices
- Familiar with version control systems like Git and containerization using Docker
- At least Intermediate level of English for communication and documentation
Nice to Have
- Experience with RabbitMQ (or other message-broker software)
- Exposure to database technologies like Redis
