About the Position
Junior QA Tester
Amber Studio, located in Manila, Philippines, is seeking a Junior QA Tester to join our dynamic team. As a Junior QA Tester, you will be responsible for executing test cases, identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality of our software products.
Responsibilities
- Execution of test cases
- Performing all levels of basic testing (scripted & unscripted tests, bug regression, basic ad-hoc requests)
- Identification and analysis of defects (duplicate search, reproducibility)
- Reporting and documenting defects and issues according to project standards
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Understanding the technical specifications of the product
- Providing feature-specific feedback
- Partnering with other testers to drive QA efforts
- Designing and running test scenarios based on product and hardware knowledge
- Communicating project matters with the team (internal or external) actively, thoroughly, and timely
