Junior QC Specialist (PC Requirements Team)

Responsibilities

• Perform PC compliance tests on multiple clients (Ubisoft Connect, Steam) using various OS versions and localizations.
• Execute compatibility and performance tests using dedicated tools on various hardware and analyze obtained results.
• Build, modify, and troubleshoot PC workstations to suit project and team needs.
• Support the production team in implementing PC-specific features of the game (graphic options, peripherals, exotic HW support) by performing required tests and providing visibility on the status/level of feature implementation.
• Investigate, reproduce, report, and track PCR issues on the projects, find workarounds for production teams.
• Manage one or more projects following established team actions and processes (planning and coordinating tests, raising project risks, ensuring proper test coverage).
• Work closely with your team and different project stakeholders (production, QC, etc.) providing them with relevant feedback on the project status and quality, providing visibility, and obtaining required information.
• Create various documentation and reports based on the project needs.
• Seek new ways to improve own skills, as well as tools and procedures used in testing.

Requirements

• Upper intermediate level of English or higher (spoken and written).
• Good knowledge of testing principles and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Knowledge of bug tracking and test management tools (such as Jira, Jira X-Ray, TestRail, etc.).
• Understanding of the bug life cycle.
• Extended PC hardware and software knowledge.
• Good knowledge of PC-specific features.
• Strong communication (ability to develop and sustain a professional network) and problem-solving skills.
• Good organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work both autonomously and as a team player.
• Proactivity and ability to multitask.
• Resourcefulness and ability to handle challenging situations.
• Able to visit the office a few times per week.

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with various platforms and OSes (PC, Steam Deck, Windows-based handheld PCs).
• Good PC platform troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in testing video and graphic options.
• Experience in assembling PCs from scratch.
