Junior R&D Software Engineer

About the Position

We are seeking a Junior R&D Software Engineer to join our Research & Development team in Brisbane, CA. This role is both creative and rigorous, requiring you to think outside the box and collaborate with each department to create and deploy disruptive products.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Odoo features and applications
• Improve existing code to increase performance, usability, and reliability
• Ensure the quality and consistency of developments through testing and reviews
• Be responsible for what you develop
• Work directly on the software you code for

Requirements

• Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
  • Proficiency in any programming language
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to colleagues

• Nice to Have

  • 1-3 years of professional experience (internship experience is acceptable)
  • Experience with Odoo or similar ERP systems
  • Open source contributions to established projects
  • A proactive learning mindset
