About the Company

dpa Corporate Insights is an independent economic news service that provides decision-makers from companies, associations, and other organizations with multimedia content about the German Mittelstand from Monday to Friday. The selection of topics is not event-driven but follows a recurring editorial pattern that ensures structured, predictable, and comparable reporting.

We are looking for two full-time editors for dpa Corporate Insights, initially for a fixed term of one year.

Responsibilities

• Reporting on economic companies and industry developments for dpa Corporate Insights, including:
  • In-depth on-site research at company and association locations
  • Developing, implementing, and managing company and association profiles (text, photo, and video)
  • Curating existing dpa material for the service
  • Planning and developing thematic hooks for industry topics and reviewing the resulting video statements
• Building a strong network with decision-makers, press offices, and other experts in companies and associations
• Planning reporting in advance, recognizing economic trends, changes, and innovations, and describing them in highly structured formats suitable for an AI-supported information world
• Focusing on medium-sized companies from across Germany, with a focus on the energy, mechanical engineering, and related sectors
• Building and further developing the reporting of Corporate Insights together with the team and the editorial management, providing structured feedback

Requirements

• Completed journalistic training and ideally professional experience as a journalist in the economic sector
• Ability to write quickly and accurately even under time pressure, with experience in producing visual formats (photo, video, social media)
• Openness and flexibility for weekly business trips and willingness to work in our Frankfurt office on average twice a week
• Broad general knowledge in addition to your specialist knowledge, journalistic creativity, and openness to new formats
• Understanding of our customers' requirements
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills and excellent organizational and planning abilities
