Job Description, Responsibilities & Requirements
About the Position
We're looking for a junior professional with fluent German and some experience in sales in tech to join Mind OSS - an Embedded Linux consultancy from Leuven.
Responsibilities
- Identify, approach, and bring in clients in smart home, telecom, aerospace, and other high-tech domains, both locally and internationally.
- Conduct market research and analysis to observe industry trends, the competitive landscape, and potential areas for business growth.
- Participate in local or international events.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of sales experience (prospecting, customer acquisition, etc.) in the ICT or software business (ideally in outsourcing, consulting, or interim staffing business).
- Result-driven and passionate about bringing new clients. You will be the key contact for R&D directors, startup CEOs, managers, and senior engineers!
- Clear communicator, not afraid of difficult negotiations, structured approach.
- Fluent in German and English. Dutch and/or French is nice to have.
- You are a people’s person, able to develop good connections with the team and clients.
- A sense of humor is important.
