About the Position
Junior Software Developer
Not an internship. A real developer role from day one!
Finqware is looking for motivated and enthusiastic junior developers in their final years of studies in Computer Science or related fields.
This is a full-time role, designed as a 1-year contract with a 3-month probation period. Successful candidates will work on real fintech products, contributing to production systems, APIs, and financial infrastructure.
Based on performance, the role can transition into a full-time permanent position.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of product features within the Finqware platform
- Build and maintain APIs and integrations with banking systems
- Collaborate with the engineering team on implementation, testing, and debugging
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Help improve system performance, scalability, and reliability
- Support the development of new features and technical initiatives
Requirements
- Are in the final years of study or a recent graduate in Computer Science or a related field
- Have basic knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g. JavaScript, Python, Java)
- Understand fundamentals of APIs, databases, and web technologies
- Are fluent in both written and spoken English
- Are passionate about technology, fintech, and building real-world products
- Can work well in a team environment
- Have the ability to take initiative and drive results
