About the Position

Join CHECK24 Strategy Hub GmbH as a (Junior) Softwareentwickler (m/w/d) CTO Taskforce Team, working on strategic projects and IT process optimizations. Learn from the best, collaborate directly with the CTO, and gain practical programming experience in a variety of exciting projects.

Responsibilities

• Taskforce for the implementation of very important projects across the entire CHECK24 Group
• Independent execution of company-wide IT process optimizations (analyzing the status quo, designing KPIs, deriving optimization potentials, and implementing them in cooperation with the respective departments)
• Further development of various projects in the holding, such as our central customer accounts (SSO)
• Analysis and preparation of information from the entire CHECK24 Group for the CTO
• Support the CTO in group-wide personnel development measures for all CHECK24 software developers (e.g., workshops)
• Conception and implementation of the CHECK24 Open Source Strategy (e.g., expanding the GitHub account, supporting the community)

Requirements

• Excellent grades in the university degree and completed relevant studies, e.g., computer science, business informatics, mathematics, physics, etc.
• Very good command of at least one programming or scripting language (PHP, Python, Golang, Java, C#, etc.)
• High willingness to learn and motivation to continuously familiarize yourself with new technologies, programming languages, and setups
• Strong analytical skills with a high problem-solving competence
• High self-motivation and self-discipline to bring projects to completion
• Communication skills and a good sense for people to build the best technical solutions in cooperation with the respective departments
• Good Linux/DevOps knowledge
• Fluent German skills (C2)
