(Junior) Software Entwickler (m/w/d) – Fokus DevOps/Infrastruktur

About the Position

We are seeking a Junior Software Developer with a focus on DevOps/Infrastructure to join our team in Leipzig. You will work with various programming languages and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage infrastructure using tools like Ansible, Puppet, and Chef.
• Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Docker, Nginx, and PHP-FPM.
• Ensure database integrity and performance with MySQL, including backup and replication.
• Monitor and optimize system performance using tools like Grafana.
• Collaborate with the development team to automate tasks and improve efficiency using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Explore and integrate generative AI tools to enhance development processes.

Requirements

• Education: Completed studies in (Wirtschafts-)Informatik, Ausbildung als Fachinformatiker, or comparable qualifications.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Go, PHP, Python).
  • Hands-on experience with Linux and configuration/deployment tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
  • Knowledge of web and infrastructure technologies (e.g., Docker, Nginx, PHP-FPM, MySQL).
  • Basic understanding of networking (Firewall, Routing, VLAN).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker-based environments, and monitoring/logging solutions (e.g., Grafana).
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Ansible, SaltStack).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
• Active engagement with generative AI tools (e.g., Cursor AI, JetBrains Junie).
