We are looking for a Junior Test Automation Engineer in Java to help improve product quality by planning, designing, and executing manual and automated tests using Playwright and Python. Responsibilities
- Plan test strategies and create test plans aligned with project needs
- Design test cases and prepare test data to ensure solid coverage
- Execute manual and automated tests across agreed test scopes
- Identify defects and communicate findings clearly to the team
- Validate releases through regression and integration testing
- Coordinate with teammates and participate actively in meetings
- Generate reports by documenting results and analyzing quality metrics
- Improve testing processes by reviewing practices and adopting new tools
- Provide support and training to help strengthen team capabilities
- Manage test environments by configuring, maintaining, and ensuring readiness
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in software testing, including test planning and execution
- Test automation experience with Playwright and Python, demonstrable via a technical assessment
- Consultancy skills for advising teams on testing strategy and quality practices
- Test design skills for writing test cases and preparing test data
- Defect management knowledge for identifying, documenting, and communicating issues
- Strong communication skills for teamwork and participation in meetings
- English proficiency: B1 level or higher
