About the Position

We are seeking a Category Manager to join our dynamic team in Almaty, Kazakhstan, responsible for managing product categories and driving sales.
Responsibilities
- Formulate strategies for gadgets and smartphones, determine the product assortment matrix, and manage the product lifecycle;
- Interact with suppliers on issues of assortment, prices, and commercial terms for the assigned category;
- Responsible for analytics, market analysis, pricing, and sales management across categories;
- Ensure the growth of circulation for the assigned category; achieve the planned category margin;
- Control the presentation of categories on the website and distribute products in the network's retail outlets;
- Manage inventories, ensure the company has the necessary amount of goods in the warehouse and optimal turnover rates (in collaboration with the central commercial team).
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in category management – smartphones, gadgets (preferred);
- Experience in forming product matrices;
- Experience in finding new suppliers and successfully integrating new required products into assortments and purchases;
- Knowledge of the basic principles of procurement, retail, marketing, and merchandising;
- Understanding of pricing fundamentals, analyzing key commercial indicators.
