About the Position

ENGin is an international non-profit organization that has united over 72,000 Ukrainians with volunteers from around the world through weekly online conversations. Our main goal is to raise a generation of globally-minded, fluent English-speaking citizens who will contribute to the social and economic development of Ukraine. At the same time, we create an international community of volunteers who love and support Ukraine.

We are looking for a Communications Lead who will help the story of ENGin reach those who need it: Ukrainians who are not yet aware of the opportunity to practice English with a volunteer, and foreigners who want to join and support Ukraine, as well as those who are ready to support our program financially.

Responsibilities

1. Content and Strategy

Together with the Marketing Director, you will develop a communication strategy on social media, manage the content plan and media plan, prepare and adapt texts for social media, newsletters, articles, and partner materials. You will collect information about projects and results, as well as stories and feedback from program participants, which will later become public materials.

2. Analytics and Website

You will analyze the effectiveness of communications on social media and the website, prepare regular analytics for the team. You will be responsible for the content and development of the ENGin website.

3. Team

Your responsibilities will also include coordinating the work of the graphic designer, SEO and GEO specialist, article writers, proofreaders, and TikTok specialist. If necessary, you can involve new specialists to complete specific tasks.

Requirements

• English level: B2 and above
• Experience in communications, marketing, or SMM
• Confident writing in Ukrainian and English, ability to adjust the tone to the format and audience
• Understanding of social media logic: what affects reach, engagement, conversion, and the ability to read analytics and draw practical conclusions from it
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at once and coordinate other people
• Organization and ability to meet deadlines independently, without reminders
• Willingness to learn new things and not be afraid of unfamiliar tasks
• Basic understanding of SEO and GEO for coordinating the work of specialists and writing texts for the website and partners
• Basic understanding of design rules for creating simple visual materials and setting clear tasks for the designer
• Ability to optimize your work using AI tools
• Openness to feedback

• Skills in working with Canva
• Basic video editing on PC or phone (joining videos, adding subtitles)
• Experience working with a website on Wix
• Experience working/volunteering in an NGO

• Employment: 30–35 hours of work per week.
