About the Position

Universal Bank is a modern Ukrainian bank with a stable reputation for 30 years. Our bank is known for its successful innovation project monobank, a joint retail product of Universal Bank in collaboration with the IT company Fintech Band, which is already actively used by over 10 million clients.

We need your professionalism for:

Development and implementation of AI/LLM solutions in production
Building and developing RAG systems and AI assistants
Integrating AI solutions into existing IT systems of the bank
Optimizing the quality, latency, and cost of AI models
Creating and maintaining data pipelines and ML/LLM infrastructure
Scaling AI solutions and ensuring their stable operation
Participation in system architecture and technical decision-making

Responsibilities

Develop and implement AI/LLM solutions in production
Build and develop RAG systems and AI assistants
Integrate AI solutions into existing IT systems of the bank
Optimize the quality, latency, and cost of AI models
Create and maintain data pipelines and ML/LLM infrastructure
Scale AI solutions and ensure their stable operation
Participate in system architecture and technical decision-making

Requirements

5+ years of practical experience in AI / Machine Learning / Data Science
Experience as a Team Lead or Solution Architect for at least 2 years
Experience in launching AI products from scratch or scaling them
Good understanding of modern LLMs (GPT, Claude, Llama) and their architecture
Experience with RAG systems, AI assistants, or agent-based solutions
Experience in prompt engineering and evaluating the quality of LLMs
Proficient in Python and experience with APIs, data pipelines
Experience with databases (SQL, Elasticsearch, vector DB)
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud services (AWS / Azure / GCP)
Understanding of the principles of building scalable and reliable systems
