As a Key Account Manager (m/w/d) in the Groceries, Drugstores, and Department Stores team, you will play a crucial role in managing and developing significant retail companies. From offer creation to final reporting, you will ensure smooth and successful operations. Your responsibilities extend beyond maintaining existing customer relationships to proactively identifying new potentials and successfully acquiring new business partners. Your efforts contribute significantly to achieving and exceeding our growth targets.

Responsibilities

  • Identification and acquisition of new customers
  • Independent consultation and sales to national existing customers (Key Accounts) and media agencies
  • Determination of sales potentials and development of strategic measures for long-term customer retention and expansion of existing sales
  • Conducting annual negotiations up to C-Level
  • Customer communication and expansion of the customer network at C-Level and operational level
  • Market and competitor analysis and conducting customer analyses
  • Preparation and creation of customer presentations and offers
  • Preparation and conduct of customer appointments (on-site and virtual - travel within Germany)
  • Representation of the company at events and trade fairs

Requirements

Your Profile:

  • Positive and sales-oriented personality with a passion for sales and customer contact
  • Confident communication and convincing presentation skills - also at C-Level
  • University degree, commercial or comparable education, and experience appropriate for the position in sales
  • You have an eye for customer needs and can adapt to the questions of the present time
  • You feel at home in the digital world (ideally, you have good knowledge in the online marketing area)
  • Familiarity with MS Office programs
  • Excellent German skills (C1-C2) and very good English skills (at least B2)
