About the Position

IFF Engineering & Consulting GmbH is seeking a skilled Konstrukteur für Maschinen- & Stahlbau (m/w/d) to join their team in Germany, focusing on crane and structural steel design.

Responsibilities

• Auslegung und Entwurf (Design and layout)
• Statische Vordimensionierung (Static pre-dimensioning)
• Erstellung von Werkstattzeichnungen und Stücklisten (Creation of workshop drawings and parts lists)
• Zusammenarbeit mit den Berechnungsingenieuren für Statik und Maschinenbau (Collaboration with calculation engineers for statics and mechanical engineering)
• Mitwirkung bei Schadensuntersuchungen an Stahltragwerken (Participation in damage investigations on steel structures)

Requirements

• Hochschulausbildung im Maschinenbau oder Stahlbau (University degree in Mechanical Engineering or Structural Steel Engineering)
• Erfahrungen auf den genannten Gebieten und mit dynamisch beanspruchten Stahltragwerken (Experience in the mentioned fields and with dynamically loaded steel structures)
• Beherrschung gängiger CAD-Techniken (Proficiency in common CAD techniques)
• Erfahrung mit Software für den Entwurf von Strukturen in den spezifischen Arbeitsgebieten (Experience with software for the design of structures in the specific areas of work)
• Kenntnisse der Bürosoftware (Knowledge of office software)
• Deutsche und englische Sprachkenntnisse (German and English language skills)
