About the Position

We are seeking a Bookkeeper (k/m) to join our team in Mława, Poland. This role involves managing comprehensive accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the financial health of our organization.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive accounting management: Including maintaining accounting books, Tax Revenue and Expenditure Book (KPiR), and flat-rate records in compliance with applicable laws.
• Banking and financial documentation: Ongoing contact with banks and preparation of documentation related to business financing, including subsidy projects and grant applications, particularly from European funds.
• Document verification and recording: Verification of accounting documents and recording of purchase and sales invoices, bank statements, and cash reports.
• Tax declaration preparation: Preparation and timely submission of VAT, CIT, and PIT tax declarations, as well as settlement with the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS).
• Financial reporting: Preparation of monthly and annual financial reports, including balance sheets and profit and loss accounts.
• Settlement with contractors: Conducting settlements with contractors, reconciling balances, and ongoing control of receivables and payables.
• Document storage and archiving: Proper storage and archiving of accounting documentation in accordance with applicable laws.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting.
• Independence, initiative, and effectiveness in action.
• Relevant educational background, preferably in economics.
• Very good knowledge of the Polish Accounting Act (UoR).
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Resistance to time pressure during reporting periods.
• English language skills are a significant advantage.
• Possession of a Category B driver's license is welcome.
