We are currently recruiting a Kubernetes Engineer (Orchestrator) (m/f) for an on-site position in Belgium.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage large-scale Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
• Implement and manage containerization technologies like Docker, Podman, and container orchestration principles.
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi.
• Work with major providers like Rancher, Openshift, Docker, and cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their Kubernetes offerings (EKS, AKS, GKE).
• Manage major virtualization providers (VMware, Microsoft).
• Monitor and log using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
• Implement service meshes such as Istio or Linkerd.
• Use HELM and CI/CD tools (ArgoCD/ GitOps).
• Manage storage solutions (Software Defined / Backend), S3 solutions, MinIO, Nooba, etc.
• Automate tasks using scripting languages like Bash or Python.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Communicate effectively and work in a team environment.
• Understand different agile delivery methodologies.
• Manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-moving environment and work in cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Hard Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
  • Deep understanding of containerization technologies like Docker, Podman, and container orchestration principles.
  • Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi.
  • Familiarity with major providers Rancher, Openshift, Docker.
  • Familiarity with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their Kubernetes offerings (EKS, AKS, GKE).
  • Familiarity with major virtualization providers (VMware, Microsoft).
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
