Responsibilities

  • Expert user of Xero, supporting multiple international subsidiaries
  • Management and development of junior finance team members
  • Oversight of bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and customer invoicing
  • Cashflow forecasting, analysis, and reporting to support business decisions
  • End-to-end taxation compliance including PAYG, Payroll Tax, and GST
  • Payroll processing, superannuation, and workers compensation management
  • Preparation of monthly journals and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Identification and challenge of unnecessary expenditure and operational inefficiencies
  • Preparation of annual statutory accounts and monthly management reporting
  • Liaison with external accountants, auditors, and advisors
  • Management of corporate insurances

Requirements

  • Expert in Xero is a must, supporting multiple international subsidiaries.
  • 5+ years of experience in a senior finance role
  • 3+ years of management experience

  • Clear communicator, able to translate financial data into practical insights for non-finance teams
  • Commercially focused with experience working under high pressure.
  • High attention to detail across reporting, forecasting, and reconciliations
  • Manages competing priorities and deadlines in a scaling business
  • Proactive and adaptable, thriving in change and ambiguity
  • Trusted with sensitive financial information; demonstrates integrity and sound judgment
  • Collaborative team player who supports and learns from senior finance leaders
