L3 Network Engineer

About the Position
We are seeking a skilled L3 Network Engineer to manage and develop complex network environments in Amstelveen, NL.
Responsibilities
- Life Cycle Management: Supporting and executing maintenance of network hardware and software.
- Daily Operations: Providing L2/L3 support and resolving complex incidents.
- Documentation: Creating and maintaining network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and work instructions.
- Monitoring: Implementing and monitoring (automated) network processes to ensure optimal performance and availability.
Requirements
Technical Skills
- Extensive knowledge of DCLAN network technologies such as switching, routing, and security.
- Experience with routing protocols such as ISIS, MP-BGP, EVPN, and L3VPN.
- Experience with Cisco Nexus and Catalyst network products and technologies.
- Cisco certification (CCNP-DC) is a strong asset.
- Juniper certification (JNCIP-DC) is a plus.
- Knowledge and experience with Juniper (SRX) firewalls is a plus.
- Experience with virtual networks and/or products such as VMware NSX is a plus.
- Knowledge and experience with network management tools and automation.
Personal Skills
- Proactive and results-oriented work attitude.
- Eager to learn and able to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Fluency in Dutch (minimum B2 level).
- Dutch citizenship and native Dutch language skills are a plus.
