Laboratory Technician

We are currently seeking a Laboratory Technician I to join our team in Harrisburg, PA. The Lab Technician I handles samples, performs analyses, and reports accurate and timely data according to Laboratory Operating Procedures and test methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Homogenizes samples following standard protocols.
• Assists with cleaning laboratory carts, glassware, racks.
• Maintains cleanliness of laboratory work surfaces.
• Maintains records of all quality activities as required in Operating Procedures and Test Methods.
• Performs applicable testing with proper proficiency training with supervision.
• Maintains and verifies equipment.

Scheduled Working Hours

Work schedule may vary based on business needs, with start times ranging from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM and end times ranging from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM.

Requirements

• Education: HS Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Experience: Interest in Microbiology/Chemistry or related field or commercial laboratory experience
