L&D Specialist - Adelaide

We're looking for an experienced and passionate Learning & Development Specialist to join our People & Capability team and play a key role in designing modern, engaging, and impactful learning experiences across Australia and New Zealand.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys partnering with leaders, solving capability challenges, and creating innovative learning solutions that help people perform, grow, and succeed.

Responsibilities

As a trusted learning advisor, you will work closely with leaders, People Partners, and subject matter experts to identify capability needs and develop practical learning solutions that deliver real business outcomes.

You will:

• Partner with leaders and People Partners to identify capability gaps and learning opportunities
• Consult with stakeholders to recommend the most effective learning and development solutions
• Design engaging learning programs using contemporary instructional design principles
• Develop blended learning solutions including digital learning, microlearning, workshops, toolkits, and on-the-job resources
• Build practical development pathways that support employee growth and career progression
• Coach leaders to strengthen learning transfer and development conversations within their teams
• Manage external training providers and evaluate learning effectiveness
• Support and administer the Learning Management System (LMS)
• Deliver reporting and insights on learning engagement, capability development, and compliance requirements
• Contribute to capability frameworks and continuous improvement initiatives across the business

Requirements

To be successful, you'll bring:

• Qualifications in Learning & Development, Organisational Development, Human Resources, Education, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
• Proven experience designing and delivering workplace learning solutions
• Strong knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles
• Experience consulting with stakeholders to diagnose capability needs and recommend solutions
• Demonstrated ability to manage learning initiatives from scoping through to evaluation
• Strong communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills
• Experience with Learning Management Systems and learning administration
• A passion for continuous improvement and innovative learning approaches
