LATAM Business Development and Application Technology Manager (Mining)

About the Position

We are seeking a LATAM Business Development and Application Technology Manager for Mining to lead our team in Argentina, focusing on ion exchange resin business growth.

Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities and help lead the local team to meet growth objectives.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and expand the company’s footprint across market segments of the ion exchange resin business in the assigned region.
• Serve as an applications expert with a focus on metals and mining applications, e.g., Lithium, Copper Nickel, etc.
• Provide technical support to customers and the regional sales team regarding technical service, product selection, troubleshooting, and process optimization.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and regulatory forums to build brand visibility and market credibility.
• Conduct market analysis with respect to new technical trends and evaluate the competitive environment.
• Identify and evaluate local cooperation partners, both in industry and academia.

Requirements

• BS/MSc Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, optional MBA.
• Required Years of Professional Experience: > 10 years.
• Required Skills & Competencies:
  • Profound technical knowledge in business development or technical sales in the ion exchange resin/adsorber industry.
  • Entrepreneurial attitude, self-reliant, responsible, and structured work style.
  • Cooperation in interdisciplinary and international teams.
  • Presentation, communication to executives, and project management skills.
  • Fluent English.
  • Confident and persuasive value-based professional with a demonstrated record of commercial/project success.
