Ready to change the world? One Way Aerospace is rebooting the arsenal of democracy by providing long-range, precision strike drones mass-produced in Ukraine. We are looking for a Lawyer to join our team in Kyiv.
About the Company
One Way Aerospace operates a leading defense drone production system, manufacturing strategic defense systems for our allies. We design, manufacture, and operate a fleet of autonomous aircraft, providing effective defense strategies throughout Europe seven days a week. Working at the intersection of cutting-edge technology, complex defense systems, and tightly regulated airspaces, we must have a robust, data-driven culture to fulfill our mission of defending Ukraine.
About the Team
We’re a team of data scientists and software engineers working to democratize One Way Aerospace’s data. We ensure every employee has timely access to relevant, accurate data, closing the gap between our teams and customers.
Responsibilities
As a lawyer for OWA, you would be required to:
- Be fluent in spoken and written English and Ukrainian and have a robust local network.
- Negotiate and draft contracts, leases, and other documents.
- Prepare, review, and monitor basic corporate contracts and agreements.
- Manage litigation and other legal claims.
- Advise management on relevant legal matters.
- Develop and oversee litigation and dispute resolution strategies.
- Manage outside counsel.
- Represent the company in court or before administrative agencies.
- Develop and submit reports to senior management.
Requirements
- Fluency in spoken and written English and Ukrainian.
- Strong local network.
