About the Position
Massive Entertainment, a renowned AAA game development studio in Malmö, Sweden, and part of the Ubisoft family, is leading the development of Tom Clancy’s The Division 3. We are currently recruiting for the role of Lead AI Programmer to join our dedicated team.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, debug, and iterate on new and existing AI systems and features.
- Collaborate with stakeholders from Animation, Design, and Production to ensure high-quality feature delivery.
- Ensure quality and efficiency for the code, tools, and overall process.
- Set performance budgets and own the technical roadmap for our core AI systems.
- Encourage and maintain an honest and open feedback culture.
- Lead a team of game designers, removing roadblocks, anticipating problems, and inspiring them to do their best.
- Review and mentor the team’s efforts to meet quality targets.
Requirements
- AI game development experience
- Professional experience working with C++ programming in the games industry
- Knowledge of the process and life-cycle of game development
- Knowledge of the pitfalls and key learnings of motivating a team forward
- Bonus if you have previous experience working as a Lead/Manager
