Join Ubisoft Da Nang as a Lead Animator to drive animation quality and team growth in creating immersive game experiences.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the production and delivery of the project's animation and artistic direction, alongside the Project Manager
• Plan, assign, and track the animation team's daily tasks to ensure on-time, on-budget, and on-spec delivery
• Being hands-on with animations, playing a key role in the creation of high-quality assets that bring immersive, authentic worlds to life
• Mentor and provide ongoing feedback to animation team members on performance and development
• Identify and solve creative, technical, and workflow challenges, communicating effectively across teams
• Collaborate with the Animation Director to verify in-game animation quality, consistency and iterate according to feedback
• Help establish and maintain clear pipelines and quality standards

Requirements

• Core Skills:
  • Proficiency in 3D animation softwares (MotionBuilder and Maya)
  • Advanced knowledge of character rigging, skinning, and motion capture techniques
  • Ability to learn game engine tools and pipelines quickly
  • Strong people management experience and outstanding team spirit
  • Great communication skills (English and Vietnamese)
• Secondary Skills:
  • Strong artistic skills with mastery of body mechanics and animation fundamentals
  • Attention to detail for both aesthetic and technical quality
  • Versatility, responsiveness, and initiative
  • Genuine passion for games and ability to analyze them critically
  • AAA shipping experience on consoles (a plus)
