About the Position

Lead Architect / Department Lead SAP Customer Experience (human)

Responsibilities

Trusted Advisor: Provide holistic consulting in the SAP CX environment, focusing on the conception, orchestration, and implementation of complex, future-proof CX architectures (Sales, Service, Commerce, Marketing, and BTP).
Innovator & Portfolio Shaper: Drive the definition, structuring, and development of our proprietary service portfolio and innovative proprietary developments to continuously improve our delivery standards.
Presales Driver: Support significantly in the presales phase, inspire new customers in workshops, and translate business requirements into technological masterpieces with your technical excellence.
Development Path to Department Lead: Take on technical responsibility from the start and be specifically prepared to gradually, structured, and with full support, take over the personnel leadership of an 11-person team and steer the strategic direction of the department.

Requirements

Educational Background: Completed studies in (Business) Informatics, Software Engineering, or a comparable in-depth technical education.
SAP CX Expertise: Proven, top-tier track record of more than 8 years in the conception and implementation of complex SAP CX architectures.
Technology Know-how: Excellent understanding of SAP CX core solutions, particularly SAP Commerce Cloud, SAP Sales & Service Cloud (v2).
Modern Development & Integration Paradigms: Solid practical experience with the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), cloud-native architectures, microservices, event-driven integration (e.g., Kyma, SAP Integration Suite), and REST / GraphQL APIs.
Programming Languages & Frameworks: A solid background in object-oriented software development, preferably in-depth knowledge of Java / Spring Boot (in the Commerce Cloud context), TypeScript / JavaScript (Angular/React for modern frontends/extensibility), and the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) or Node.js.
AI & GenAI Expertise: Initial experience in the conception, integration, or deployment of artificial intelligence in the CX environment (e.g., SAP Joule, Generative AI Hub on the BTP, Agentic AI approaches, or LLM connections for optimizing sales and service processes) is a definite advantage and will help you further develop our portfolio innovatively.

Nice to Have

Excellent German skills at a native level (C2) for sovereign consulting at the C-level in the DACH region and fluent English for our international project structures.
