About the Position
Our client, an enterprise banking institution, is initiating a cloud migration strategy. The primary goal is to conduct a comprehensive audit of current cloud service providers and select the most secure, compliant, and cost-effective cloud environment tailored to the bank’s operational and regulatory needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead the cloud migration strategy for an enterprise banking institution.
- Conduct a comprehensive audit of current cloud service providers.
- Design, evaluate, and migrate hybrid cloud environments.
- Manage cross-environment connectivity, identity federation, and security posture.
- Consult on regulatory compliance, data sovereignty, and risk management frameworks.
Requirements
- 7+ years in Cloud Architecture, Cloud Engineering, or IT Infrastructure Strategic Consulting.
- Proven track record in designing, evaluating, and migrating hybrid environments (On-Premises + Private/Public Cloud).
- Practical experience consulting banks or financial institutions on regulatory compliance, data sovereignty, and risk management frameworks.
- Technical Expertise:
- Kubernetes: Multi-cluster management, auto-scaling, multi-tenancy, network policies, and GitOps practices.
- Microservices & Infrastructure: Service Mesh (Istio / Linkerd), API Gateways, Event-Driven Architectures, CI/CD pipelines, and IaC (Terraform, Ansible, Helm).
- AI/ML Infrastructure: GPU cluster deployment, distributed training frameworks, model serving, and MLOps ecosystem setup.
- Databases: Relational, NoSQL, NewSQL, DBaaS patterns, High Availability (HA), failover strategies, and PITR.
- Cloud Security: IAM, encryption standards, Key Management (HSM), security monitoring, and vulnerability management.
- IaaS & Networking: VPC setup, Load Balancing, VPN, Direct Connect, and multi-AZ resilience.
Nice to Have
- Experience with projects in Southeast Asia (specifically ASEAN / Cambodia).
