About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Lead Compliance Specialist to join our Compliance and Governance Team, driving the C5:2026 uplift across products through the full compliance lifecycle from gap analysis to audit readiness.
Responsibilities
- Perform a gap analysis of the current C5 certification status against updated C5:2026 requirements
- Review existing controls, processes, and compliance artifacts to identify required updates and missing elements
- Document new and revised control requirements and map them to current operational processes
- Define, propose, and help implement remediation measures to close identified compliance gaps
- Assist control owners in executing uplift activities and ensure timely progress
- Coordinate and contribute to evidence collection, documentation updates, and audit preparation activities
- Drive workstreams independently and ensure deliverables are completed with minimal supervision
- Contribute to broader compliance and governance initiatives within the team where needed
- Maintain overall audit readiness for newly addressed C5:2026 criteria
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in compliance, information security, or IT audit roles
- Proficiency in C5 certification frameworks and control mapping
- Background in conducting gap analysis and remediation planning
- Skills in evidence collection and audit preparation
- Capability to work independently and drive workstreams with minimal supervision
- Understanding of compliance and governance frameworks
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with ISO 27001, SOC 2, and BSI IT-Grundschutz
