About the Position

We are seeking a Lead Data Analytics and Visualization Engineer to drive the design and implementation of advanced data analytics solutions using both classic and cloud-based technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable data solutions and foster a high-performance engineering culture. Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of modern data analytics solutions using classic (BI platforms, ETL/ELT technology & tools, Databases, DWs, etc.) and cloud-based technologies
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to understand requirements and evaluate new features
  • Build partnerships with architects and key stakeholders across functional groups
  • Perform detailed analysis of business problems and technical environments for solution design
  • Participate actively in code reviews and testing to ensure adherence to best practices
  • Supervise team members and provide technical leadership to foster a high-performance engineering culture
  • Write and maintain comprehensive project documentation

Requirements

  • Advanced experience (over 5 years) in developing end-to-end data analytics solutions with classic and cloud data technologies
  • At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience
  • Production experience in Data Analytics, Data Visualization, Data Security, Data Modelling, etc.
  • Solid expertise in designing self-service analytical data solutions
  • Hands-on experience with advanced and hybrid data modeling approaches
  • Knowledge of data lineage, metadata management, and data traceability concepts
  • Production experience with data-oriented programming languages such as SQL, Python, SparkSQL, PySpark, R, or Bash
  • Experience designing, implementing, deploying, and monitoring scalable and fault-tolerant cloud data solutions
  • Good experience with CI/CD principles and best practices at the project level
  • Data-oriented mindset with strong compliance awareness, including PI, GDPR, HIPAA
  • Motivated and independent with the ability to manage multiple projects and set priorities under pressure
  • Analytical problem-solving skills with ability to work abstractly and gain consensus
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile development environment
  • Experience in direct client communications
  • Experience leading technology teams on data-oriented projects
  • Solid skills in troubleshooting, monitoring, support, performance tuning, and bottleneck analysis of data solutions
  • Experience across different business domains
  • English proficiency at B2+ level
