Lead Data Engineer

About the Position

Dear candidates,

We're inviting you to join a Hungarian IT company, which develops unique BI solutions for clients around the world. We're looking for an experienced Lead Data Engineer with a strong background to help manage the US projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team of 5-10 people
• Work with clients in the USA
• Design and implement data engineering solutions

Requirements

• 3 years experience working with clients in the USA
• 5 years experience as a senior developer and/or architect in either:
  • Data Engineering
  • Analytics Engineering
  • Cloud Data Warehousing
• Ability to lead a team of 5-10 people
• Excellent communication skills in English, as this is a client-facing role

Nice to Have

• Databricks certifications and/or experience
• Work experience with enterprise clients
• Domain experience in the Financial Services industry
• GenAI experience
