Lead Finance Manager - Corporate Accounting
Winston-Salem, North Carolina

REYNOLDS AMERICAN has an exciting opportunity for Lead Finance Manager – Corporate Accounting in Winston-Salem.
Responsibilities
- Managing monthly accounting and financial reporting for U.S.-based holding companies.
- Handling accounting and forecasting for internal and external debt, dividends, and intercompany transactions.
- Supporting the monthly close process, including general ledger activities using SAP and BPC.
- Preparing balance sheet reconciliations, income statement reviews, and journal entries.
- Preparing U.S. GAAP financial statements and related disclosures.
- Maintaining and testing internal controls to meet SOX requirements.
- Working closely with external auditors to provide documentation and explanations.
- Partnering with teams such as Tax, HR, and Treasury on reporting, forecasting, and special projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with a CPA required.
- At least five years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial statement preparation.
- Proven experience managing monthly close, reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Solid understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and experience working with financial systems.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
