You have the opportunity to join our team and tackle business challenges in a dynamic, purpose-driven environment characterized by close collaboration with business stakeholders.

As a Lead Fullstack Developer SAP BTP / Joule Studio, you will provide technical leadership and hands-on development for SAP cloud solutions, with a focus on SAP Joule Studio, SAP Build, SAP Fiori, and backend development on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

You will work for a European market leader in energy metering and building-related digital services, as part of a growing SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud program that is expanding its capabilities in AI, user experience, backend development, and integration over the coming year. In this role, you will take ownership of key architectural and technology decisions and help shape the team as it scales.

Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Lead the design and development of AI-enabled business applications and extensions on SAP Build, including key architectural and technology decisions. Define architecture principles and development standards for the team.
• AI & Automation: Develop SAP Joule Studio use cases and AI agents that extend SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud business processes.
• Frontend Development: Design and implement SAP Fiori applications, ensuring a consistent, high-quality user experience.
• Backend Development: Develop backend services and APIs on SAP BTP, using the CAP Framework, Node.js, and/or Java.
• Mentorship & Collaboration: Mentor and guide other developers, and collaborate closely with in-house consultants, solution architects, and project managers.

Requirements

• Several years of experience as an SAP Fullstack Developer or Solution Architect.
• Strong expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• Experience with SAP Joule Studio, SAP Build, and SAP AI Services.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5.
• Experience with the CAP Framework, Node.js, and/or Java.
• Experience with APIs, OData, REST, and integration scenarios, including via SAP Integration Suite.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.
• Comfortable mentoring other developers and communicating technology decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).
