Lead Infrastructure Software Engineer (Go / Kubernetes)

About the Position

We are seeking a Lead Infrastructure Software Engineer with expertise in Go and Kubernetes to join our team. You will lead internal projects and collaborate with teams across the EU and US.

Responsibilities

• Lead the API Gateway project
• Research and select the appropriate solution (Envoy, APISIX, Kong, 3scale)
• Build prototypes and integrate with Kubernetes Gateway API
• Develop necessary Kubernetes operators in Go
• Configure integrations with Cloudflare, GCP, and CI/CD pipelines
• Maintain and improve the documentation portal
• Small features, bug fixes, and CI pipeline support in GitLab

Requirements

• Kubernetes: strong hands-on experience (including Gateway API and writing operators)
• Golang: development of Kubernetes operators and microservices
• Cloudflare: configuration and integration (including Workers)
• JavaScript / TypeScript: development of tooling and frontend maintenance
• GitLab CI/CD: building and maintaining pipelines
• GCP (Google Cloud Platform): experience with infrastructure, services, and tooling
• Ability to work highly autonomously and take full ownership of projects
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders at different levels
• Strong analytical and architectural thinking, able to propose and defend solutions
• Good English (both written and spoken) for collaboration and presenting solutions
