Responsibilities

• Serve as technical authority and design lead for e-axle and distributed drive mechatronic systems
• Develop system-level mechatronic concepts integrating motor, power electronics, gearbox, and housing.
• Lead architectural decisions, interface definitions, and key design parameter ownership
• Create and optimize mechatronic designs using CAD tools, performing simulations and virtual validation to ensure performance, safety, durability, and manufacturability.
• Coordinate and provide technical guidance to cross-functional development teams and suppliers
• Ensure compliance with functional safety, quality, cost, and timeline targets
• Drive continuous improvement of design methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in mechatronic systems development, preferably in electric drive.
• Expertise in electric drive systems, motors, power electronics, transmissions, and system integration
• Strong proficiency in CAD modeling and simulation tools for design, analysis, and validation of mechatronic systems
• Proven ability to lead technical decisions, manage interfaces, and coordinate suppliers throughout prototype.
• Experience with system performance evaluation, design validation, and proof-of-concept development
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English
