About the Position

We're looking for a Lead People Operations Specialist (m/f/d) to join our team in Frankfurt am Main or Berlin, Germany in a hybrid working mode. This is a fixed-term position offering you the opportunity to shape and manage People operations across the employee lifecycle. Your work will ensure efficiency, compliance, and an excellent employee experience while enabling business success. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and use digital solutions to optimize HR processes in an international environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage operational People processes throughout the entire employee lifecycle
  • Prepare and coordinate employment-related documentation with a focus on accuracy and legal compliance
  • Support onboarding and offboarding activities to deliver a smooth employee experience
  • Coordinate and facilitate payroll-related processes in cooperation with internal teams and external providers
  • Maintain HR systems and prepare accurate reports and analyses
  • Respond to employee queries in a solution-oriented manner using digital tools and platforms
  • Support administrative tasks related to business travel and international relocations
  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with all relevant legal and internal regulations
  • Drive process improvement, digitalization initiatives, and enhance operational efficiency
  • Contribute to HR projects, health and safety programs, and change management activities

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in HR operations, HR administration, or a comparable role
  • Completed degree, vocational training in HR, or equivalent qualification
  • Proficiency in HR processes, documentation, and systems
  • Experience with payroll-related HR activities and benefits administration
  • Strong understanding of HR compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in digital tools, workflow systems, and data management
  • Fluent German and English communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively under multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Motivation to improve processes and implement digital solutions

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the technology or professional services sector
  • Familiarity with AI-based HR tools or automation technologies
