About the Position
We are seeking a Lead PHP Developer to work on our client’s product. This platform enables content creators to monetize their activities by receiving support from their audience through one-time and recurring donations.
Responsibilities
- Guide and support the development team, mentoring and helping developers grow their skills.
- Plan and break down tasks, monitor project priorities, and ensure deadlines are met.
- Conduct code reviews to maintain high-quality standards and provide constructive feedback.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and overcome roadblocks through innovative problem-solving.
- Collaborate closely with design, product, and other teams to align on project goals and product vision.
- Keep all stakeholders informed of progress, potential challenges, and solutions.
- Promote best practices in coding, testing, and documentation within the team.
- Lead by example through a strong work ethic, dedication to high-quality work, and a collaborative attitude.
Requirements
- Senior-level experience with more than 3 years of PHP and Laravel (version 5+).
- Strong proficiency in Laravel (currently using version 7.3, planned upgrade to version 11).
- Expertise in PHP (currently using version 7.4, planned upgrade to version 8.*).
- Solid experience with PostgreSQL database systems.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with integrating third-party APIs and services.
- Proven track record in leading development teams and mentoring team members.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Problem-solving and solution-driven mindset to overcome challenges and optimize processes.
- English level - Upper-Intermediate and higher.
