About Us

Leona is reimagining what it looks like for doctors to care for patients in an AI-first world. Our platform streamlines doctor-patient communication via WhatsApp, acting as an AI clinical assistant that automates non-urgent tasks, surfaces what's urgent, and gives patients the convenience of reaching their care team 24/7.

Responsibilities

As a Lead Product Designer, you will:

  • Lead the design of high-end, impactful product experiences for Leona’s digital products
  • Spend time getting to know our target users and develop empathy for their unique needs
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Be a key decision-maker on a small but talented team
  • Help us make Leona a company that stands out for its design excellence

Requirements

  • Proven track record of designing mobile-first digital products, with at least 7 years of relevant work experience
  • Fluency in Spanish & English
  • Specific experience designing for native mobile apps (iOS or Android), with extensive knowledge of common design patterns and guidelines
  • Mastery of the various tools needed for each step of the design process
  • Comfortable taking ideas from wireframes to pixel-perfect deliverables
  • Experience working closely with engineers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for building
