Responsibilities

As a Lead Programmer, you’ll be hands-on with guiding and supporting your team in coding features across multiple programming specialisms within our new gaming project.

  • Drive performance and ability planning, putting the project first.
  • Provide leadership and support to programming teams.
  • Collaborate effectively across various areas of game development (e.g., gameplay, engine, online, animation, tools, or physics).
  • Manage and develop your team, ensuring both personal and project goals are met.

Requirements

  • Evidence of day-to-day team management and team development experience.
  • Broad knowledge of multiple areas of game development.
  • Experienced in C++ development within console gaming.
  • Experience working with a large game codebase, its modules, middleware, and associated pipeline.
  • Familiarity with project planning lifecycle.
