Responsibilities

• Designs, programs, tests, implements, documents, and maintains computing applications.
• Gathers and evaluates end-user requirements.
• Writes and compiles code and constructs database objects based on documented design.
• Analyzes information to determine architecture specifications, parameters for software compatibility, application security needs, and other application architecture requirements.
• Modifies or upgrades applications to maintain software functionality.
• Identifies and resolves programming or application architecture problems.
• Reviews system performance and identifies and recommends improvements.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in software development
• 10+ years of professional experience in Java Full Stack Development
• 7+ years of experience with data integration development and maintenance
• 7+ years of experience in handling any SQL database
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps practices such as continuous integration and continuous deployment, configuration management, security analysis, and cloud computing.
• 1+ years of programming experience using AI coding assistants
• Hands-on experience in Java 17+, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security.
• Experience with Web fundamentals like HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Hands-on experience in developing responsive GUI using any framework like Angular, React, JavaFX (preferable).
• Experience in developing and testing and hosting RESTful services.
• Experience in any SQL database along with database CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) operations.
• Experience in ALM tools (GitLab, Jira, TFS) and also tools like Maven, Gradle.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants in agentic environments.
• Working knowledge on any cloud platform from a developer’s perspective.
• Strong experience of working with Agile (Scrum) and thorough knowledge of DevOps.
• Ability to learn new technologies and adapt quickly.
• Strong Problem Solving and Debugging Skills.
• Should mentor and guide developers, provide technical mentorship.
• Knowledge of Performance tuning, scalability, and fault tolerance.
• Strong work ethic, communication skills, and good time management with the ability to work with teams, meetings, and stakeholders’ meetings.
