About the Position
We are looking for a Lead Python Developer to join the Quality team, a Generative AI platform initiative aimed at transforming Quality processes through AI-powered solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the backend architecture and development of Python/FastAPI services, including code reviews, engineering standards, and technical decision-making
- Drive GenAI capabilities, including prompt engineering, LLM orchestration, and integrations with multiple LLM providers
- Design, optimize, and maintain production-grade prompts in a GxP-regulated environment
- Manage API design and lifecycle using Azure API Management (APIM) and OpenAPI specifications
- Oversight of Azure services including App Service, PostgreSQL, Blob Storage, Key Vault, and Container Registry
- Maintenance of CI/CD pipelines and deployments through Azure DevOps across Dev, QA, and Prod environments
- Implementation and support of LLM integrations, authentication models (OBO, Service Principal), and observability tools such as MLFlow
- Technical leadership for the React frontend application, including architecture, component management, versioning, and deployments
- Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain audit and operational visibility
- Serve as the primary technical lead for the WriteItt Gateway squad and coordinate with Platform, Cloud/DevOps, and business stakeholders
- Mentor developers and lead onboarding activities, including architecture and codebase walkthroughs
- Ensure adherence to GxP, Responsible AI, and other mandatory compliance requirements
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and SQL
- Skills in FastAPI, Git, and software quality practices including testing, linting, and pre-commit workflows
- Expertise in GenAI capabilities including prompt engineering and LLM orchestration with multiple providers
- Capability to work with AI agent orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, AutoGen, or similar) to support multi-step agentic workflows such as gathering investigation data, conducting risk analysis, and drafting deviation reports
- Knowledge of Azure services including App Service, PostgreSQL, and Blob Storage
- Familiarity with Azure API Management (APIM), Key Vault, and Container Registry
- Background in CI/CD pipelines and deployments through Azure DevOps
- Understanding of authentication models (OBO, Service Principal) and observability tools such as MLFlow
- Showcase of frontend development using JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and React or Vue
