Lead Python Developer

About the Position

We are seeking a Lead Python Developer with extensive experience in Django and cloud services to join our team and lead backend development.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team of multidisciplinary frontend and backend developers
• You will be responsible for the joint design and development of the backend of the project
• Take a direct part in the practical development of software - writing new functions, objects, and features on the project
• Play an important role in project architecture planning and testing
• Conduct periodic code reviews with other team members
• Documenting and updating project code
• Ensuring optimal performance and quality of the backend team on the project
• Contribute to API planning and development
• Writing and improving tests for the backend of the project for successful product delivery

Requirements

Tech Skills

• Extensive experience with Python and Django
• Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MySQL)
• Experience building integrations with cloud services
• Understanding of S.O.L.I.D. principles
• Experience with Django REST Framework and Celery
• Understanding of REST principles
• Experience implementing and developing CI/CD

Soft Skills

• Communication skills and coaching: we need an employee who will be a great mentor for the team, will have the superpower: to listen, argue, and persuade

About the Projects

1. Medical system for working with patient data with the possibility of online consultations with a doctor. The system will be implemented at two levels: both at the state level and in various medical clinics. The flow and volume of data processing is planned on a fairly serious scale.
2. Web-based estimate generation system for a construction company (France). In this system, the client has the opportunity to choose various services and materials provided by the company that he needs to perform at the facility. And the system, based on the client's request, generates a detailed calculation of materials and the cost of work at the facility.
3. HR system for finding temporary employees for different types of establishments (France, Netherlands). With the help of our applications, establishments that need "working hands" for a limited period of time (seasonal work, evening work, etc.) can reduce the time it takes to select suitable people for cooperation, and employees can find a comfortable workplace.
