Lead QA Engineer

About the Position

We are looking for an experienced Lead QA Engineer at Design and Test Lab to work on existing projects and processes for further improvements! 🌟

Responsibilities

• Planning, organizing, motivating, and controlling QA activities for the Company’s projects
• Creating test plans, test coverage plans, and other test documentation for company products, and coordinating them with the client
• Maintaining, updating, and implementing improvements in QA documentation development
• Monitoring project status and task progress
• Identifying, analyzing, documenting, and agreeing on client requirements in collaboration with BA and PM
• Creating and controlling the execution of acceptance criteria during QA department acceptance processes
• Ensuring task deadlines are met
• Participating in meetings, maintaining, approving agendas, and performing necessary preparatory work
• Providing clients and management with reports on task progress and overall project status, including conducting calls
• Implementing and maintaining a culture of reliable software engineering
• Implementing innovations and continuously improving best testing practices and related reporting
• Close collaborating with the team (1-2-1 meetings, etc)
• Encouraging and guiding the professional growth of QA team members

Requirements

• 7+ years of solid experience in manual QA testing with at least 3 years of demonstrated leadership experience.
• Experience in implementing QA processes on projects and Change Management.
• Advanced written and fluent spoken English.
• Initiative and proactiveness.
• Problem-solving, analytical, and investigative skills.
• Ability to delegate tasks effectively and provide constructive feedback.
• Critical thinking: ability to analyze from different perspectives, identify pros and cons, know constraints and opportunities.
• “Thinking out of the box” mindset is required.
• Setting up, configuring, and optimizing test management tools to streamline testing processes and enhance productivity.
