Lead Salesforce Developer

About the Position

We are looking for a highly skilled, experienced Lead Salesforce Developer to join an international project and play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining Salesforce solutions across multiple business domains.

This is a hybrid role based in Lisbon, requiring two days per week on-site. The position is ideal for a senior Salesforce professional with deep technical expertise, strong leadership maturity, and a solid understanding of Salesforce development standards and best practices.

You will own Salesforce requirements from design through implementation and testing, while contributing to technical quality, documentation, integrations, and team delivery.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of the design, implementation, and unit testing of Salesforce requirements.
• Produce clear functional and technical documentation.
• Deliver Salesforce configuration and customization aligned with business requirements and internal standards.
• Develop and maintain integrations across the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Execute unit tests, analyse defects, and implement appropriate fixes.
• Define and review test cases to support high-quality deliverables.
• Guide developers and contribute to strong technical standards across the team.
• Support technical decision-making and promote Salesforce development best practices.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in Salesforce development.
• Strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.
• Strong experience developing and maintaining Salesforce integrations.
• Hands-on experience with unit testing, defect analysis, and bug fixing.
• Solid knowledge of Git, Salesforce DX, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience using JavaScript and HTML to customize templates, troubleshoot application behaviour, and support appropriate rendering across browsers.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce development standards and platform best practices.
• Proven leadership abilities, with the capacity to guide and motivate a team of developers.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher, written and spoken.

• Salesforce certifications such as:
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I.
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II.
  • Salesforce Certified Application Architect.
  • Salesforce Certified System Architect.
  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA).

We Offer

• Gross annual salary: €36,000–€45,000*, depending on experience and suitability for the role.
