Lead Software Developer - Management & Security

About the Position

We are seeking a Lead Software Developer - Management & Security with 12+ years of experience in Networking/Telecom for embedded system software design and implementation in Bengaluru, India.

Perform embedded system software design and implementation for leading high-performance data networking products as a member of a highly capable and dynamic engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Architect/Design and Develop embedded platform software for high-end networking solutions
• Work closely with other development teams to enable rapid feature delivery
• Address software security & vulnerability issues in the product
• Demonstrate cross-functional collaboration with Product Marketing, SQA, and other development teams to ensure embedded platform software meets all performance, scalability, interoperability, and security requirements
• Lead control plane software agile team, interact cross-functionally on matters that require coordination across organization lines
• Write functional and design specification documents and drive sign-off
• Interface with developers, QA, documentation & customer support & program management teams
• Participate in full product life cycle development

Requirements

Must have

• Minimum of Bachelor's degree in CS/EC/EE/IT/Cybersecurity
• 12+ years of relevant industry experience in Networking/Telecom
• Embedded/Network Management
• In-depth experience in developing switching applications on multi-core, multi-threaded platforms
• Prior experience in application layer projects is a huge plus
• SCM tools like Git
• Security Engineer
  • Strong C coding and Debugging skills
  • Extensive hands-on experience in tool chains and Linux Kernel crypto library
  • Networking protocols like SCTP/TCP/IP, SSH, TELNET, TLS/SSL, PKI, OCSP, AAA, RADIUS, TACACS+, LDAP
  • Experience in Linux Yocto & OSS upgrade
  • Experience in OpenSSH, OpenSSL bring up will be a plus
  • Certification experience in FIPS_140_3, Common Criteria, Entropy Certification, DoDin
• Infra Engineer
  • Strong C/C++ coding and Debugging skills
  • Extensive hands-on experience in designing and developing software related to management protocols
  • Networking protocols like Tail-f Confd, Streaming Telemetry, NETCONF, CLI, NETSNMP
  • Prior experience on Postgres database & Tail-f Confd will be added advantage

Nice to have

• PQC algo integration with TLS and SSH
• Erlang programming language
