Job description
About the Position
We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to develop, enhance, and maintain code while building back-end microservices and REST APIs for impactful projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain code
- Build back-end microservices and REST APIs
- Conduct unit testing
- Perform code reviews
- Follow best practices including code review, unit testing, and continuous integration
- Collaborate with team members to design and implement solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 8 to 12 years of development work experience
- Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Framework, and Kafka
- Proficiency in REST APIs, microservices architecture, and WebLogic
Nice to Have
- Master's degree in Computer Science
- Background in financial services, particularly in wealth management
- Knowledge of additional programming languages
- Familiarity with cloud technologies
- Understanding of agile development methodologies
