Job description
About the Position
Join SQUER as a Lead Tech Transformation Consultant in Vienna, Austria. With us, you are right in the middle of innovative technologies, MVP mindset, and AI-first approaches. Together with established clients, we develop efficient software solutions, move along product development, and share our knowledge with the world. We consider ourselves AI-native: we are curious about how AI is reshaping our field and actively explore and integrate it into our daily work, from ideation to delivery. Making a real impact and delivering high standard quality while staying authentic and treating each other with respect and fairness are prerequisites for all our projects and a core value within the team.
Responsibilities
- Being part of SQUER means being a Team Leader, acting as a role model as well as being someone that is actively shaping SQUER.
- You are a strong communicator, ensuring effective collaboration in cross-functional teams, between stakeholders, and with our customers.
- You are responsible for the consultation on process changes around software development, software release, and organizational improvements.
- You actively participate in the entire development process and are significantly involved in finding and implementing the highest value solutions which maximize transformation progress.
- You understand and discover the needs, pain points, and desires of the customers deeply to create solutions that truly resonate with them.
- You understand the technical aspects of our solutions, which helps in effective communication with engineers and in making informed technical decisions.
- Instead of acting as a lone fighter, you are happy to share your knowledge with your colleagues as a sparring partner and coach.
Requirements
- Experience in agile software development projects and passion for supporting software teams in all their disciplines.
- Strong communication skills, experience in stakeholder management, and client relation management.
- Analytical thinking and strong solution orientation. Knowledge in Lean and Agile Frameworks and deep knowledge in Requirements Engineering or Product Discovery.
- Ability to quickly understand customer challenges and deduce the underlying needs.
- Active use of AI-powered tools (e.g., code assistants, LLM-based workflows) to amplify productivity and quality, or eagerness to start.
- Fluent communication in German and English.
