The Sopra Steria Data Center of Excellence (DCoE), a cross-functional entity of the France hub, is at the heart of the support and data/AI transformation of our clients.

Convinced that Data is the engine of an evolving and sustainable industrial base built to meet business challenges, we work on the entire chain to provide value to our clients at all levels (business, IT, CxO…) in liaison with our consulting and delivery teams.

The DCoE brings together technological and methodological expertise across the entire Data value chain: from transformation strategy to the implementation of everyday AI use, through Data Cloud and on-premise governance and architectures.

Environment of Work

As a Lead Tech Data – Informatica Skills you will join our Data center of excellence, to work with various clients in different sectors of activity (Banking, Insurance, Public Sector, Telecom, Media, Gaming, Industry, and Services) across the entire French territory. We intervene in support of delivery teams, during the prospecting phase, pre-sales, and project implementation.

You will work primarily on data architecture topics, while integrating concepts of data governance, data catalog, reference management, data quality, and industrialization of AI.

We work in partnership with leading market publishers, as well as with hyperscalers.

Responsibilities

• Elaboration of optimized architectures integrating the Data platform IDMC
• Design and implementation of data ingestions on IDMC
• Implementation of data transformations and valorization on IDMC
• Participation in client workshops for design and consulting
• Framing/AVV:
  • Understand an RFP
  • Develop a technical response (functional, technical, and software architecture)
  • Support in front of a technical/functional audience
• Analytical capacity to identify client needs in order to:
  • Propose adapted technical solutions
  • Avoid redundancy if tools already exist
  • Challenge client ideas to guide them towards good "Data Management" practices

Following your onboarding, you will be required to supervise development teams and participate in the delivery of the solution.

Requirements

• Education: Bac+5 (engineer from grandes écoles or universities)
• Experience: At least three years of experience in a Lead Tech Data position with solid skills in Informatica
• You have an appetite for data management in the broad sense and an ability to adapt, allowing you to move from one project to another. In a context of continuous improvement, improvement comes through training/certification; you will be challenged in your journey by passing certifications.
• Passing skills/knowledge to teams is a key element of which you will be the driver.

Technical Skills:

• In-depth technical knowledge of the Cloud Data Integration part of the IDMC platform
• Complementary knowledge of the rest of the IDMC platform is a real plus: API management, MDM, Data Quality…
• Knowledge of the on-prem Informatica via Power Center
• The "Cloud Data Integration (CDI) Modernization" certification is a real plus
• Knowledge of global IT bricks of the SI is a real plus: Datalake, data warehouse, MDM, other intermediary tools (ETL, ESB, API management,…)
• Knowledge of methodology and tools around DevOps in a Data context

Do you have a particular sensitivity to broader data topics (data quality, references, governance, business processes)? This will be a real asset for you to adapt to the different projects you will be in charge of.

Comfortable with public speaking, this will allow you to present and lead workshops and meetings around architecture solutions.

Finally, you have an English level of B2 necessary to address our clients abroad.
